- Using Express Payment Options

How can we take advantage of this option?

Donors that have a saved payment method on their devices have the option to give via Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Microsoft Pay for a faster, easier donation process. This allows donors to complete donations without having to manually type in their details every time.
This option is on Kindful hosted donation pages, campaign pages, and crowdfunding pages and available for customers using Bloomerang Payments as their payment gateway.
Only one express payment method will appear at a time based on the browser being used, and credit card + ACH will still be available.

Does this feature work on the donation plugin?

No, this will not work on the donation plugin. Just on your Kindful hosted donation pages, campaign pages, and crowdfunding pages.

What payment gateway do I need to use?

This option is on Kindful hosted donation pages, campaign pages, and crowdfunding pages and available for customers using Bloomerang Payments as their payment gateway.

Why am I not seeing this as an option? I have Bloomerang Payments connected.

Express Payment is dependent on the device and browser the donor is using. So if the donor has cards stored in an Apple Wallet, but is using Google Chrome to make the donation, they will not see the option to pay with Apple Pay. Alternately, if they have a Google Wallet setup, and are using Safari to make the donation, their Google Wallet will not show up.

Are there additional fees for this feature?

No, there are no additional fees! The only fees you will see are the standard processing rates for Bloomerang Payments (2.9% + $.30 for credit cards).

Will these transactions come into Kindful or our bank differently?

No, these will be just like standard online donations received.
