Soft Credits vs All Soft Credits

This brief article discusses the difference between the filters for the activity types Soft Credits and All Soft Credits.

- Soft Credits

We have two distinguishing pieces that both filter for certain types of Soft Credits.

Activity Type: Soft Credits will return only soft credits that were created inside Kindful. An example of this would be a donation received from the United Way that would need to be credited out to several donors who's donations to the United Way comprised the full donation amount received.

Activity Type: All Soft Credits would include normal soft credits created in Kindful as well as special soft credit activities, like those created by Eventbrite or Shopify orders. Of note, you do have the option in Eventbrite and Shopify integration settings to mark orders from either as "hard transactions" or "soft credits", assigned to a specific Campaign.
