Overview
If you have used Invoices and Payments in QuickBooks and have connected to Kindful, you will notice that these transactions are not syncing into Kindful. These do not come in via the sync, and you will need to manage these payment types in Kindful moving forward by using Pledges and Transactions in Kindful.
The transactions entered into Kindful will move into your QuickBooks account.
If you find yourself in this situation, you will want to get an export out of QuickBooks containing the Invoices and Payments. See the screen shots of these steps below so you can get these transactions into Kindful.

Exporting Invoices
Start by choosing Reports in the menu. Select Custom Reports and then Transaction Detail.
Set your date ranges specifically or simply to All.
On the Filters tab, be sure to choose Transaction Type > Invoice and add it to the Current Filter Choices.
On your QuickBooks Invoices, make sure to check the "Open Balance" column.
Choose the option to Create New Worksheet in the Excel dropdown option above the list of Invoices displayed.
Export to a CSV file.
This will create a CSV of the Invoices in your QuickBooks account. These will need to be manually input into Kindful as Pledges. You can also choose to contact our Custom Services team at Kindful to have us assist with an import of these Invoices directly to Pledges.
Payments
Start by choosing Reports in the menu. Select Custom Reports and then Transaction Detail.
Set your date ranges specifically or simply to All.
On the Filters tab, be sure to choose Transaction Type > Payment and add it to the Current Filter Choices.
Choose the option to Create New Worksheet in the Excel dropdown option above the list of Invoices displayed.
Export to a CSV file.
This will create a CSV of the Payments in your QuickBooks account. These will need to be input into Kindful as Transactions. You can use our Import Tool or our manual entry options (Transaction Batch would be a good choice if you prefer to not use the Import Tool).
By adding these Payments into Kindful as Transactions, it does not create/complete the associated Pledge (Invoice). Those (Pledges) will need to also be added into your Kindful account and subsequently completed.
Moving forward, if you wish to see the QuickBooks integration working and sending all donation data into Kindful, you will want to continue to add Pledges and Transactions into Kindful. You will see the Transactions entered into Kindful move to QuickBooks as Sales Receipts. Pledges and Invoices will not sync between the applications.
