Sending Revised Tax Summaries

Overview 

You just generated tax summaries for your donors and realized you needed to make a few edits on select contacts. Read this article for a quick step-by-step on how to generate one-off tax summaries for donors.

Creating An Individual Tax Summary

You can easily create a one-off tax summary for an individual donor by going to their Contact profile. 

Scroll past the Contact and Contribution sections, and below any wealth data and next to the list of Groups, you will see a block titled Reports.

In here, you will find recent tax summaries. Click a link to generate the applicable file. 

You will be emailed the file when it is complete. You can aso head to the History page in Kindful to retrieve it.

Creating Your Cover Letter

To create a singular tax summary with a Cover Letter, you will need to follow the steps above to generate the tax summary, and then use our Mail Merge feature to generate a one-off Cover Letter for the contact(s) receiving these.
