With QuickBooks Desktop, you have the option to manually kick off the sync process each time, or to set up the sync process to run automatically.
Overview
Setting up the sync process to run automatically is a great thing to do if you don't want to have to remember to kick off syncs.
If you want to retain a little more control (for example, if there is a manual process that you want to run before you sync QuickBooks and Kindful), then retaining the manual sync kick-off may be for you.

How to set up QuickBooks Desktop to sync automatically with Kindful:
1. Inside Intuit's Webconnector Client, In the File menu, click "Update Webservices"
2. Next to the Kindful Application, Select "Auto-Run"
3. Select how often you want the sync to run. For optimal experience this should be no more often than every 60 minutes. (Running more often could result in syncs becoming frequently stuck and other data issues)
Of note: For the sync to process, your computer needs to be on, connected to the internet, and QuickBooks has to be open.
