One Click Politics can synchronize with Kindful, turning your signatures in One Click Politics into Kindful contacts, Campaigns, and notes.
This article explains how to connect One Click Politics with your Kindful account, and enable the integration's syncing.
Connecting to One Click Politics
There are two ways to connect. The path you take depends on whether you have an existing One Click Politics account or not.
IF YOU DON'T HAVE A ONE CLICK POLITICS ACCOUNT
Go to this website to get started signing in: https://oneclickpolitics.com/customer#login
On the left side, select Kindful Connect, and enter your Kindful credentials at the prompt. This process should sign you into One Click Politics with a new account.
Note: Free (non-paid) One Click Politics accounts have many features turned off. When you get to this place, please contact One Click Politics. At the time this article was published, there is a Contact Us form on the One Click Politics homepage. |
IF YOU HAVE AN EXISTING ONE CLICK POLITICS ACCOUNT
Sign in with your login and password at https://oneclickpolitics.com/customer#login
Once in your account, select Account in the top right, then Edit Profile.
On your profile page, select Kindful Connect at the bottom.
Enter your Kindful credentials. When asked, Authorize One Click Politics to access your Kindful account.
Your Kindful and One Click Politics accounts will now be linked together.
From here on, whenever you log in at https://oneclickpolitics.com/customer#login you can press Kindful Connect button instead of using your One Click Politics login and password.
Syncing One Click Politics with Kindful
This process ensures you begin syncing messages and signatures in One Click Politics into Kindful contacts, Campaigns, and notes.
After you've followed the above steps and you're logged into One Click Politics using Kindful Connect, a Sync Kindful button will appear on the upper-right corner of your Dashboard.
Click Sync Kindful to bring up a dialogue box with a timestamp of your last sync and a button to start a new one.
Each sync will look for any new One Click Politics signatures that have come in, and import them into Kindful.
Specifically, a new signature's contact info (name, email, address, phone) becomes a Kindful contact.
The message a contact has signed syncs to a Kindful Campaign, and the act of signing registers as a Kindful note linking the contact and Campaign.
Examples
Let's say you have two One Click Politics Campaigns, "Save the whales" and "Save the sharks."
A supporter signs both messages by the name "Hey Boo" and email "heyboo@gmail.com". Syncing will import or update the following into Kindful:
1 Kindful Campaign | Save the whales |
1 Kindful Campaign | Save the jellyfish |
1 Kindful contact | Name: Hey Boo; Email: heyboo@gmail.com |
1 Kindful note | Subject: "Petition Signed" Body: "Signed Petition Save the whales" Attached to contact Hey Boo and Campaign Save the whales |
1 Kindful note | Subject: "Petition Signed" Body: "Signed Petition Save the jellyfish" Attached to contact Hey Boo and Campaign Save the jellyfish |
